300TE Suspension Question

Sorry if this is a stupid question. Unfortunately, due to a little problem I am temporarily disabled and unable to get underneath the car to look for myself.

Does the TE rear suspension have the same thrust arm and link configuration as the sedan? In other words, is it susceptible to the same 'floating' problem due to worn links as the sedan?

My wagon is starting to feel a little wobbly. I don't drink and drive.

It's identical except for lighter springs and the hydraulic struts with accumulators rather than simple shocks. Links are the same, same part #.

I'm going to try to get the thrust arm in the 300D this weekend, will check the torque links while I'm there. I have a severe "torque steer" on acceleration, accompanied by a thump when changing throttle. I know the thrust link is bad since the bolt isn't centered in the bushing, but I didn't look very closely at the torque link.

Wander and sensitivity to cross-winds is also caused by improper front toe-in -- also true on the 300D as one tire is wearing on the outside.

I highly recommend replacing the front and rear rubber sway bar bushings. Easy to do, inexpensive and gives great results.
