just for thought 6.9 swapped into a w126?
Could it happen? would it be worth the effort? what other powerplants would swap in (ie. modern and efficient). I want power (some day when I have time and money

A 450SEL 6.9 is not going to blow the doors off a 560SEL. Despite the displacment and torque advantage of the 6.9, the 560 is quicker to 60mph and will probably do better than the 6.9's 140mph top speed. According to Nitske, anyway.
