Car: 1995 E420

Car was parked for two day out in the sun. As I went for ride in the evening, I noticed my wipers starts to run by itself (4-5 swings). I think my car does not have rain sensing auto-wipers. By the way it was a sunny day. I wondered what could cause this? Has anybody else experienced it?
