E320 suspension

I've got a 95 E320 with 90K miles on it.

Drives fine, but not quite as precise and solid as when it was new.

So, I'm thinking having all the rubber bushings, etc., replaced front and rear.

It's not something I'd do myself so am wondering if anyone else has had it done and about what should it cost?

Thanks for your help.

(I posted this earlier, by mistake, in the Diesel discussion)

I have been periodically replacing the '94 wagon front and rear suspension. Big items are the front ball joints, because the whole control arm is attached costs ~$700, The rear control arm bushings cost about $400, sway bar bushings are cheap, tie rods were cheap, steering shock was cheap, idler arm was cheap (I think, I can't remember). I haven't done any shocks yet. I've read where these cars are designed to have all bushings replaced easily and the result is worth it. I think the article written by Stu Ritter was in a recent issue of the 'Star' magazine from MBCA. Have fun. My wagon has 197,000 miles and drives very well.
