Power steering 126
 
I have an 85 380SE. I noticed this morning that in slow turns, like when turning from a stiop sign, there is a groaning noise coming from just in front of the firewall on the passenger side. Is this the power steering pump? The fluid level looks okay.

No grinding or clunking on mine, and it doesn't pull at all. Just a groaning noise.

I currently have a 85 380SE too. The power steering pump is on the front of the engine next to the distributor cap.
