Question 103 Intake & Exhaust Manifold Specs

I'm in the process of removing the head to replace the head gasket and I can't find this in the 124 Manual. Is there a tightening sequence or torque spec for the bolts ? I've already removed the exhaust manifold bolts and will leave the manifolds in place. When I unbolt the intake will the support bracket hold the intake or do I need to support it as well?TIA

Ok, all the bolts are out and its holding on by the stud in the center and the support brackets , am I going to be able to seperate the intake and head as I lift the head off or ?? The stud in the center can't be easily removed so I'm hoping someone who's done this can give some direction here,I'm going to go back into the shop and work on removing all the top end stuff. I'll check back in while , TIA.

Yes you should be able to pull the head with the manifolds still in the car. Push the intake back little with you hand and that's all you need. Get new studs and nuts for the exhaust if you really want to save time and instal the studs in the head before you put it on. Good luck!
