Help - Antilock Brake System

I recently purchased a 1987 300D Turbo. The antilock light onthe dashboard comes on most of the time, usually after about 10 mph. After reading many of the posts here I replaced the OVP relay but that did not make any difference. Any ideas?

Yes, the sensors. But also check for excessive rust on the tone wheels. They are the things that look like gears behind the brakes. If they are very rusty, particularly in the "valleys" the signal generated will not be strong enough to be picked up by the sensor. You can clean the tone wheels with a small file or other tool. Tod

Also check the tyres are the same size and inflated to the correct pressures.
