Oil Leak on 603.9XX Diesel with Rotella?

Developed an oil leak on somewhere on the injection pump about 7K miles ago ... was wondering about it and asked Marshall Booth.

As usual, he had great knowledge base and discussed leaking gaskets that could occur, especially with synthetics, but also noted that Mobil 1 has seal swelling additive.

It occurred to me then, that I had changed to Rotella Synthetic at about the same time the leak(s) started ...

Anyone else have this experience with Rotella Syn?

I have been using rotella-t syn since it came out and i am quite impressed.. I use it in 2 of my 3 turbo diesels...
mine has 190k my wifes has 140k

my older 1992 has 201k and im still using mob 1 in her only becasue of what marshall suggested about the seal swelling additives...

but saying that i have to say that i have not had any probs with rotella syn... seems to control the sulfer better
