96 C280 Rear Shock Noise
 

Hi, Have a squeak from the rear shock when bouncing the car in the rear. Is this usally caused by the top shock rubber bushings. Are there any grease boots on top of the shock that may be dry.

The very top rubbber bushing on the shock spindle that is accessible from the trunk is not the source of the squeak. Appears to be from the top one under the top shock mount in the rear wheel well.
