Parts interchange between models?
Will any of the parts from a 123 body fit on a 126 body? Specifically I am courious about the steering gearbox and the rear differential. I have access to a couple of low mileage 123s that have been junked that I can get the parts off. Just hate to got through all the work if they will not fit my 126.

The differential will interchange on cars thru 1984.

What about the steering gear box? I tried looking it up on Fastlane and their part numbers are one digit off....one has a 2 at the end and the other has a 7. Do the part numbers have to match exactly?
