Is the cold start valve and idle control valve the same thing? Where are they located?
I have a 85 190e.

NO they aren't the same, remove air filter assembly to access. The cold start valve is located on the left side of cylinder head half way down. It has an electrical connection & fuel line connected to it.
The idle valve is in a rubber mount between the #3 & #4 intake runners. It has a rubber hose & a 3 wire electrical connector that you can see.
