Tinting the benz:)

What would look good on my car shown below (s500)

Limmo tint, fogged smoked tint, mirror tint, or stay with original?

look to see what the state laws are.

I have to tell you 3-M tint is the best. They stand behind thier products and if anything goes wrong with it they will replace and install it for free (lifetime).

i have a 1987 560sel that could stand to have the rear window tinted in my hope of retarding the uv fading of the rear deck fabric.

you mention that 3m does color tints. funny, on their website for their best tint film i see that they only offer black.

how does one select a tint film applicator? my mechanic has a low opinion of all of the ones he knows of in the conroe, texas area.

lastly, if applying this tint film to side windows how is it done? are the door panels removed so that the tint film extends below the door's window opening?

all ears.

Formula One is also excellent tint, and also has a lifetime warranty. And a dealer locator on their website http://www.formulaone.com/

I got the 35% and it made a huge difference in the summer.

Solarguard

Anyone have any experience with Solarguard film? I was quoted $160 for Solarguard and $260 (!) for 3M for my 420.

Thanks,

John
