need A/C help......

Went to install my comp and drier today. Noticed that the new drier is missing two electrical connections. Are these critical and what are these for????????????? Help????? Pictured is bothe the new and old driers. you will notice the missing connections. can I run without these?????

You notice the red connector on the left and the other connector on the bottom right??? There is no "port" to re-install in the new drier for either of these.

My bust gentlemen, sorry. I saw the ports had bolts in them and were painted over. I jumped the gun and thought they were not removeable. I remember a few years back when I helped my bro-in-law do his A/C system on his Benz. The drier he received looked like mine. his ports were blocked and we had a tough time making do. All is installed and working fine. Thanks

Yes, your drier wouldn't be if it was left wide open.

A suggestion for the next time. . .

take close up pics. The ones you took show the floor, pail and rag very nicely but do not show any detail in the area of interest.

When I looked at it I couldn't any thing other than the aformentioned parts. A good pic does save a thousand words.
