Hello,
My C280 has just had a nasty encounter with what must have been a boulder. The Driver's side headlight is completely shattered, I even had the transparent film on lens that is supposed to prevent this from happening (which is currently keeping the lens intact), but the impact point was right at the inner edge. Anyway, how difficult is it to correctly replace/realign a new unit? Is there a alignment process, is it difficult, as I do not have a Service Manual and am still looking for the CD on the W202, I'm a little in the dark, hehe. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. ------------------ 96 C280 |

The changing of the entire assy is not that hard and is straight forward. You have to take your time though, and not break the little plastic clips. A tech should be able to do this in less than an hour.
