Door panels and seats from different year?
Hi, just wondering if it is possible to fit the door panels (front, rear, or both) from a 1991 300E into a 1989 260e. Also, is it possible to fit the door panels and/or rear seat from a 1994 E320 into the 89 260e? My rear seat is sorta falling apart beyond repair and as far as the door panels, the newer door panels just look much nicer. Thanks for any info guys!

My understanding is that all w124 from 1986 to 1993 are a bolt on swap (seats, door panels, etc).
This is not a definite answer, but maybe someone will shed some light. May I ask what colors are you replacing and getting? I am interested in some interior parts myself (gray).

Thanks for the info. My current doors are not gray (they are a beige color) and I'm hoping to replace them with similar colors.

I tried switching the seats of an 89 300e to a 90 300e and there are some differences. The female end of the seat belts on one model(I think the 90 model)comes through the bottom of the back seat, where as on the other model(89 model) they come through the back part of the back seat. The female end of the seat belts also mount in a different place on the body. Sorry, I can't be more specific, but it's been a while since I attempted this.

Well how about the door panels? Will the 1994-1995 E320 door panels fit the 1987 300E? Or will I have to remove the speaker from the E320 door panel?
