front window problems ..... please help!
'91 300E
The front window switch (driver and passenger side) does not work .... as soon as I turn the ignition key on, the fuse in location "G" pops .... I've tried replacing the fuse. Do I have a problem with the window switch or is it a harness problem (my guess is: a short might be causing the fuse to blow). If there is a harness problem, how much would would it cost on labor (just approx.). Any ideas? Thanks very much!

The 1990 & later W124 chassis has a window comfort computer under the left side of the rear seat. That computer does all of the window & sunroof operations.
