Is wiring sidemirror blinker lights DIYable?

How difficult is it?

Its very easy, all you need to find are the wires that power your turn signals, pinch them, and the blinkers will work each time you turn on your turn signal. I wanted to do this to my 300E,but the door would require too much modifcation in order for the mirror to fit.

I need a new back cover anyways so I was going to go ahead and get it maybe. Not sure though. Well since I don't know where the wiring for the blinkers are, can someone enlighten me?

Thanks

Hello, If the blinkers on your car are like mine, then the blinker wires are located behind the turn signal bulb. There should be 3 wires:
1 wire for ground
1 wire for the blinking action
1 wire for constant running(when you turn on your lights at night both signals turn on)

You need to tap in to the ground wire and the blinking action wire.
I doubt you want the blinkers on constantly.

any more questions, please PM me.

I shouldnt get the chrome ones right?

I think black w/ clear turning signals would go nice with the clear corner lights..chrome would make it look funny right?
