The plastic one shouldn't be used, MB dealers were supposed to pull ALL of them 7-8years ago.
Use a 102-203-03-17 with 102-990-00-88 & 915036-005100 and (2) of 007603-008100

The 102-203-03-17 is the housing. The other numbers are for the adaptor, hollow bolt & crush seals for the air bleed off hose on the top of the housing!!

The extra parts are for where the hose from the coolant tank connects to the top of the housing. The housing itself just has a threaded hole in the top with no way to attach a hose to it. Some models use the same cover, but no hose attaches to it, it connects to the radiator instead. Those models, like the 300E, would just use a solid bolt and a seal ring.

Doc/Gilly - Does the non-16v 2.3 use the same same cover? If not what is the part number for the non-16v metal cover?

Changing my radiator soon, thanks!
