no fuel to engine? Help
I drove my 380 SL 1985 yesterday and when I shut it off It would not crank when I tried it later that day. I put a little gas in the intake and it fired right up. I put a volt ohm meter on the connection at the fuel pump under the rearend and when the key is turned on I get no power at the connections. Does anyone have any ideas about what is wrong? Is it possible that the ignition switch (electrical part) could cause the problem that I am having.

Is the fuel pump directly below the fuel filter in the rear of the car?

You probably have a bad fuel pump relay. Do a search on how to jumper it to check. It is located above the passenger's side footwell.
