my 300e milage is way downits got a freah tune plugs wires , cap. starting to get a little rough on the idle, do I need new injectors, the ones on my diesel I took apart and cleaned do these just get replaced?

What year is your 300E? How many miles?

Did the bad mileage start before the tune up or right after?

Have you replaced your O2 sensor .... how old is it?

What plugs did you put into it? Did you check the gap on them?

Often using Techron in a less than full tank of fuel can clean injectors quite well.

I bought it in march with 113000 now at 11600 got the bosch supers, no o2 yet, its a 86, gaped to the book, the old plugs were very dirty with lots of build up, and the milage started about 20 now withit hot out and a/c on its about 15

Be sure to check the airfilter but my guess is it is in need of an mixture check and possibly an 02 sensor.

how do you check the mixture, I will get the injector cleaner as I am taking a 1000 mile trip next week, if it does not improve I will get a o2
