1993 300E rear pass window cable
I just purchased my first MB a 1993 300E. Like a dumbass I didn't check the function of all the windows. The rear passenger side window fell last night during a rain storm. Thanks to all of the folks on this forum I was able to get the door panel off to inspect it this morning. I found a piece of wood that was I guess holding the window up. I also found all sorts of pieces and parts lying in the bottom of the door. I think everything is there. If I buy a new regulator are the cables already in the right places. I haven't checked the motor out yet but by the looks of it someone really assed up the existing regulator. If I take it apart I can usually put it back together but I came in second on this one. Any help would be appreciated.

I just worked on my rear window repair. The glas fell down a week ago, last weekend I took the door apart and the good door apart to tell how the cable was routed. The regulator and motor are one piece for S187.00, I was able to repair mine because the cable cover had opned and allowed for the cable to come apart.
It sounds like you need a new register, easy to replace once you remover the door cover.
