How old is my battery??
Hey guys,
How would you go about determing the age of a battery in a MB? The battery in question is an original equipment MB battery in a 1995 S420. It is unlikly that it is the original battery but how could one tell? The only "code" on the battery is near the positive post and reads "K08 A" Does this code ring a bell for anyone? I am sure that the 08 is probably work week and the K stand for a year. No idea which year though. Thanks guys! Brian |

Codes starting in K0 usually indicate November 2000
"K" is probably for November. The zero may mean year 2000 Perhaps the 8 is for November 8th.

Thanks!
It is almost three years old then and I think I will "proactively" replace it.
Thanks again! |
