Trouble is, unless you have that kind of money to spend on hand, you are going to have a tough time getting a loan for something that old...doesn't matter how few miles it has.

That is probably a rare find. It think it is definetly worth that $22K bid. I think these cars cost about $80K-$90K new back in 1986 and it is virtually still a new car. But I agree- it would be difficult to get a loan on that car, considering it is 17 years old.
