'77 450 SEL (German spec): losing power at times

I live in Miami. For the last 2 months, at some times, when I accelerate car wthany degre of firm pressure, it loses power as if it is fuel starved. But when I ease up on gas, it seems to fire normally. At other times, car runs fine unless I REALLKY gun it. Car has oinly 64,000 miles, and until I got it from original owner 6 months ago, had only been driven about 10,000 miles in last 10 years.

Would this be symptomatic of a clogged fuel filter, bad plugs, or perhaps some vapor lock? Cause after car sat in a garage for a few days unused, it seemed to accelerate fine.

Any thoughts?

Is acceleration/ this behavior the same, regardless of engine just-started-cold, or warmed-up-hot?
