Hi,

Recently the wiper on my 87 190E-16V started running slower. A little while later, it returned to the home position and the wiper blade got wedged into the side of the windshield, rendering it inoperative. So, I took the whole mechanism out and found that the gear and the gear track that move the wiper arm in and out had disintegrated.
Where can I get these parts? If anyone has a spare wiper sitting around, please let me know.

Thanks,

Daniel

You can't get the spare parts. You have to get the assy. You can find them at any junk yard that has Mercedes...The wiper is the same for any of that year 201/

Daniel:

You might want to check www.************************. Also, request their model-specific catalog (for your 190E). It is VERY comprehensive with detailed, exploded illustrations and part numbers/pricing -- best of all it's FREE! I don't have mine with me here at work, but I believe thaey have the wiper assy available.

Hope this helps.

Brian

I have looked thru their catalog. It shows everything but the wiper head. Try adsitco.com, otherwise it's a factory part..
