Wacked -out cruise control....
 

I get up to speed hit accel/set and the car takes off like a rocket. Just wants to keep accelerating. i tried several different methods of setting the cruise but more often than not it only sets/takes off with accel/set. I heard something about an amplifier?

More than likely, it is a bad solder joint on the circuit board under the dash. I've fixed an idle speed control module and fuel pump relay by resoldering their joints. The only reason I haven't tackled the cruise module is laziness.
