6.9 LSD test

Can people in the know please tell me: if I lift one rear wheel off the ground on a 6.9, how much effort one should it take to turn the wheel by hand? Does the amount of effort change when the diff oil is hot vs cold? What sensation does one experience with worn clutches (friction discs), do they just always slip or can they "come in and out" if you know what I mean?

Many thanks in advance.
Adam
