Overheating Problem 300CE

Live in Phoenix and it is hot but, when A/C is on the temp gauge is always at 125 to redline. Also after driving for 30 minutes ar so I have noticed the top radiator hose is collapsed, like is is creating a vacum. I can take the filler cap of and the hose goes to normal. I have replaced the radiator and thermostat. Also after driving without A/C the car still seems to run hot 100-125. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks in advanced for your help

Michael

Check your aux fans

Check to see if your auxilliary fans (electric in front of radiator) are cutting in when they're supposed to. They activate on low speed at 100c, high at 107c. They're also activated by A/C pressure - and should come on quickly after turning on the A/c at idle (especially in Phoenix). If they're not coming on - come back and the experts on this forum can direct you further.

Replace your radiator hoses, replace your thermostat (again - the high temps probably damaged it), clean your condenser (in front of your radiator), make sure your fans work properly, replace your radiator overflow tank cap. Don't drive it in the red; you probably will damage the engine. If this doesn't work, how's your coolant pump?
