hello. Please help me. When you see your brake warning light on, does this indicate that you have to replace front brake or rear brake or both? The thing is I had my brake replaced like a year ago(when brake warning light was on) and now they are tellling me that my rear brake need to be replaced. What do you think? Thanks. I thought they replace all four brakes when the warning light is on. Please clarify this for me.

The light is connected to all 4 on some cars. If yours is one, when the light comes on ONE of the 4 wheels has hit the sensor. You only replace the brake pads on that axle. It would be front or rear. You do about 3 sets of front to one set of rear. Thank you for the question

hey jeff,

Thanks for your contribution. I wonder why you would be so "curious" as to what I have. You have asked me like 5 times already and you also made a comment on the questions I posted.
Quote" Justin, somtimes i don't understand your questions"....and what did i say to you? I said that I know i ask dumb questions and I will do my best to make them clear next time. Also, on many occasions, you keep telling that I have so many problems.. Isn't that why we are all here, to get help from each other? Yeah, I had a number of minor problems with my car and my dealer took care of them free of charge. Do you enjoy seeing others having problems with their cars? I take it really seriously. Why not try to help instead of making such comments..look at it this way.. How would you feel if I told you you have such an old car? I bet you wouldn't appreciate it..

Look.. I am not trying to start an argument here. But, sometimes, you should consider what you say to others. I hope you understand me. Thanks for your time.

yes, I did state what car I had in old posts. That's why i didn't mention it. I guess you didn't read those. Well, since you want to know, these are what i have.

C-230(the one I had probs with, they are all gone)
E420(not a single problem .. my girlfriend drives it now=)

AMGCKlass,

I for one would like to see everyone who has a question to fully provide background information on their car. I haven't read your posts from months ago where you may have stated what year and model Mercedes Benz you have. I'm sure a lot of other readers would like to see as complete information as possible. The most basic would be year and model. These fabulous techs take a lot of time to help us and they work on so many different models of Mercedes that at the least, we can provide a year and model for every question we have. That way we don't have to "search" the archives to figure out what AMGCKlass has for a year and model. All your questions are great....no dumb questions... just sometimes it's hard to give an answer without knowing anything about your car.

This is a great site and lets all keep it that way.. :)

Justin, Don't take it personally, but if you look over your posts, I've never stated you asked dumb questions. I have observed that you have had many problems with one of your cars. You never made it clear which model etc. you had, so most of your posts were responded to in a general way by most of the good folk who frequent this site, (including your's truly). I've tried to give you the best advice I could based on what I know and my own personal experience. Maybe you should create a profile signature including the cars that you own, year model, whatever. In this way, no one will have to guess about what car you are asking about. Try it..
BTW, if you look below, my cars are pretty old. Also, when you see one of these :D, it should tip you off that the person is not being serious or is pulling your leg. Keep posting, keep asking, that's how I learned most of what I know (Which isn't much compared to some of these other guys).

Dear Jeff,

Hello. Jeff, i know you didn't say that I ask "dumb" questions. That's what I said about my questions. In any case, I didnt' take it personally.. trust me.. I got a good laugh out of it too(ford escort?hehe).... I know you didn't have any intention of disrespecting others. Yup, I know you have been helpful.. Thanks for that. Yup, it's all good... I look forward to hearing from you when I have problems. Thanks...Sometimes, questions I ask are not related to my own problems.. there are a lot of car-realted stuff I want to learn. Well, jeff... take care and talk to you again. BYE>

PS> acutally, in my old posts, yeah, I stated what my ride was.. but, it was a long time ago... =)i will post it again if necessary. Thanks.~~~
