Question License Plate Fasteners

Does anyone know the size of screws that are used for the license plate? I imagine it would be a metric screw.

Go to Canadian Tire, look at the bulk screw/nuts/bolts bins ( metric ) & get what you need.
My guess would be to start with 5 mm.

BTW, get a rubber washer for each of your screws. Helps prevent rust betweent the screw head and the plate.

Actually, I think it was a #6 (not 6mm). I recall that it wasn't metric, but was available as a stainless pan head at my hardware store. If you don't have any fasteners, go to your local hardware store and ask, I'm sure they'll let you go to the lot to figure it out with their fasteners.
