Odometer not working
I have a 1988 300TE wagon and the odometer is not working. The speedometer works fine. Any body have a clue as to what is wrong and how to fix it?

I had the same problem in my '84 300D. There are threads here that speak to how to repair this, but I removed mine and sent it to the good folks at Continental Imports. They did a great job rebuilding it and turned it around in a day - during the holidays.
I was very impressed. Continental Imports Website

I just fixed one on a 190 E.There is a small nylon gear driven by a worm gear on the side of the unit the small gear drives the odomoter and had slipped out of mesh I simply cleaned the hardened old grease from the gears and realined them it realined with a tight fit. I also sprayed graphite down the cable .........
