I have a 1991 300D and I just notice that the right and center vents have a little light that illuminates the regulator wheel. How do you replace the bulb in the air vent. This is the wheel that you turn to close the vent.
Thanks, ARI |

You have to take off the grille for the speaker and then there are 2 screws that hold the top. Next there are 4 clips on the inside toward the front that have to be held down to pull it out.

The entire top of the dash has to come off to get the bulb out in the air-vent?
Thanks! |

Try tapping or gently banging the vent control wheels, this may bring the lights back to life, otherwise do as advised. This worked on my '89 300E over a year ago. Still going strong..
