How is taking off the plugs difficult? Since the newer engines didn't use distributors, there is either a coil pack on the spark plug, or a coil pack with a wire that attaches to the spark plug.
Gilly or Steve should know.

nthach,
the problem is I took off the cover of the plug area exposing the wires to the plug but don't know if to yank the wires out orto use special tools. If I can get the wires out I can get the plugs out. Am I supposed to just pull the wires out? Ikpa

Depending on how small the opening is, you can get away with spark plug boot pliers, http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/pro_det.asp?tool=all&item_ID=10805&group_ID=1351&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog
but there are others, but $20 isn't a bad price.
