S500 steering wheel replacement

I am considering a wood and leather wheel. Is the replacement a DIY project? If so, how is it done?
Thanks

It is very straightforward.

First you have to remove the driver airbag, to do this you should disconnect the battery.

Secondly you just have to remove the wheel nut and pull the steering wheel.

At the end if your car is equipped with ADS, after starting the engine the ADS check light will come up. Don’t worry it is normal; you just have to reactivate the steering angle sensor. Turn the steering from full left to full right and that’s it.

Congratulations for the new steering wheel.
