ML 320 Wiper Fluid

I have a 99 ML 320 and all of a sudden I can't get the wiper
fluid to come out. The tank is full and the wipers work fine.
When I pull the lever it sounds like it is trying to pump the
fluid through, but nothing comes out. The rear wiper and fluid
work just fine! Also checked the fuse and it is ok. Not sure
what to do next! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Mark

stop!

drain the fluid and see if sometyhing is not blocking the inlet hole.the reason i say to stop is that i think the fluid is used to lubricate the pump while it's being pumped through.it's also possible that you have a blockage at either end of the line.

Even though the pump seems to run, it almost has to be a bad pump, assuming no blockage (as noted previously).
Unless it seems to be running out onto the ground at some place, then maybe a line has come off.
