1973 450 sl, horsepower rating
 

I am in the process of purchasing a 1973 450 sl. However, I have been unable to find the stock horsepower rating for the 4.5 litre v8. Can someone help with that info? Thanks

Bhp = 230 @ 5000 rpm

torque = 279 @ 3200

type fuel required : reqular @ 91 octane

interesting point...standing 1/4 mile = 17.9 sec @ 81 mph
