Question

Transmission won't shift to 2nd gear

Hi Board. I need an advice fo a problem with a 350SD (W126) 94K miles, which is not shifting under any circunstances to 2nd gear. the transmission level is at the mark. The proble was sudenly with only a harsh shifting from first to 2nd gear the day it happened. Any ideas? Does it look like a major over-haul.

190e will not shift out of 1st gear!Help!

Mine needed a rebuild with this symptom.

Hope your problem is not as serious.
