ML 320 Automatic Transmission

Does anyone know what type of ATF the 722.662 type transmissions use? (Of course, I can get no information from Mercedes owners manual, and Mercedes will not publish a shop manual for this vehicle yet.)

Why would they publish a manual for the ML?
They haven't yet for the 140 or the 202 or the 129, or the 210, they're at least out of production. The 140 went out first, I think it's actually been "out of print" for 5 years now. Maybe 4. '99 was the last year for it, but I don't think they made it for the entire '99 model year.
They don't publish an entire "manual" for a car anyways, the information is found in different areas.
For the ML and these other cars, the best we can hope for is that MB will kind of reorganize "WIS" so that individual chassis can be formed together and the information discs sold according to the different chassis.
