Recently my 300E occasionally doesn't want to shift out of first gear.When it acted up I pulled over for a minute then drove away and it works fine. This just started happening today.
Any ideas? Not sure when the fluid was last changed.

I had a Chrysler that did it once and it was a simple relay that got burned out. I'm not that familiar witrh MBZ trannies.
