Undoubtably. Some tire tread patterns take a real beating on high caster vehicles (includes most models MB). I would say P6000 would fail every way possible including that. But I'm predjudiced, I really like Michelins. The MXV series of tires are the smoothest driving and wearing tire you can put on the car unless it needs the MXM series. Check with tirerack, get a good deal and spend the money with a good tire.

I second Steve's opinion on this. I tried a set on my old 300E in order to save money vs. the Michelins. They stuck like glue, but didn't wear very well. If you plan on keeping them for a while, my recommendation is the MXV's.

Everyone I've ever met who has had P600's or P6000's on their car has not been happy with them. Everything from lousy mileage, sub-touring tire ride, noise (most common gripe), etc. I'll second Steve's opinion....you really can't do better than Michelin. For touring the Energy MXV4 Plus is as good as it gets. If you want to crank up the handling that opens up a pandora's box of other options and tradeoffs but for what the car was designed for, you will be more than happy with the Energy MXV4 Plus.

Hope this helps...Lee
