First brake job question?
 

Doing a first brake job (following Thomaspins excellent article), and all is going well except getting the pins that hold the pads in place all the way back in. Seems easy but is there a trick to that that I don't know?

A small hammer works well. It does take a little force to get them all the way in. First check the end of the pin it should have a small ring at the end, It will have a split int it. This ring squeezes as you drive it in. If the ring is missing the pin will not stay in.
