Folks,

Does anyone know what the part # is for a replacement first aid kit in a 124? I think that a previous owner put a used kit in mine, as there was a piece of tape with writing on it that indicated it came from an '87. I would assume that it is useless now (except for keeping things original-I'll just store it away for now).

I see that most of the ones made now are in a newer black cover which probably helps with the internals drying out. Is this a dealer only part?

Unfortunately I don't believe the original First Aid Kit is available anymore. I ended up buying a new kit and for the sake of originality I replaced any dried out and damaged parts with the same component from the new kit. Labeling has changed slightly but otherwise the actual components are the same.

If you do find a source for the original kit let me know as I'm also interested.

I'm really not looking for the original kit. I'm assuming that since all of the new kits come in black, that the part number for the original kit has been superceeded. I'm just curious to find out if anyone knew the new part number for the new kit version.

I guess I can stop by the dealer and see what they say.

The W124 replacement First Aid Kit Part Number is Q 4 86 0025. Should cost about $22 - $25. Hope this helps.
