There's this:
M115 T.B.I. conversion
soon to be followed by my '85 500SEL (M117 CIS) conversion or my '74 280C (M110 carbed) conversion to TBI, whichever one I decide to do first. I'm leaning towards the M117 but I know a lot of M110'ers would like to see the M110 done first.
MS was a night and day difference on the M115. I don't know how much performance-wise of a difference it will make on the M117 but since the system is trashed (previous owner put bad fuel in the car and then it sat for two years) it can't hurt. Apx. $700 for the MS conversion versus $1200 for just a "cheapie" fuel distributor for the CIS is a "no-brainer" especially when you consider what else could be junk in the CIS system.
