Where to sell my benz? Where to advertise?
I checked on the nadaguides.com website and it showed the following price quote:
1995 Mercedes-Benz S Class Sedan 4 Door S500 105,612 miles Low Retail Average Retail High Retail Base Price $26,975 $29,850 $31,650 Mileage Adjustment 105,612 miles subtract: ($625) ($625) ($625) Is this quote accurate? If so, which magazine/websites/company is the best place to list the car at? Thanks |
Current Kelly Blue book is ..For a 1995 S500 19,300 low 24,700 retail The Mileage gets a 17% HIT 15,5 low 20.9 retail

I agree with Mark...
I believe you would be lucky to get 20 grand for it.

Check out www.collectorcartraderonline.com. There is about a bazillion MB's there.

Check eBay as well. You can probably find similar vintage/milage S500s that for $15-17,000. That's tough competition.
It took my sister forever to get $20K for her 94 S500 with 75K miles, no Starmark. Finally sold in the late spring. Sixto 95 S420 91 300SE 87 300SDL 83 300SD |
Yeah, you can't use NADA to price your car for private sale. After all NADA stands for National Auto Dealers Association, so that's the price you'd expect to pay if you bought a car from a DEALER. Kelly Blue Book is a better guage of what you could expect to get for your car if you sell it on your own.
