I am beginning to modify my 87 16 valve and have a few questions regarding the suspension:

1) While putting Heavy Duty Bilsteins in the front, should I replace the hydraulic suspension with Bilsteins in the rear?
2) What is the better spring in terms of quality and lowest drop: H&R, Hypercoil, Intrax, Spax, other?
3) What is the deal with pads and bumps? Did the 16 valve come equipped with the skinniest pads?

Thanks in advance,
Peter
