When to replace rear springs on 420?

How do you determine when to replace the rear springs on a 1989 420 SEL? The back end drops about 2 inches when I load in 200 lbs. into the trunk. Is this normal? The shocks have been replaced recently. Is there anything else I should consider fixing when the back end sags under a reasonable load?
