1985 300 SD Alarm Problem
 

The alarm system on my 85 SD goes off while driving or for no reason at all. As I do not wish to use this can anyone tell me how to permanently disable this? Thanks

Do a search. There was a post around here not too long ago that showed a picture of what needed to be disconnected to disable it without effecting anything else.

A funny story about the alarm. My wife/kids recently went to the mall in the SD and were not aware of the alarm. They got into the car at the mall, activated the alarm and did not have a clue how to turn it off:). Drove back with it going off and now she won't drive it - LOL.
