Water Wetter Questions??

I recently flush my radiator on a 95 E300D and added Prestone antifreeze and a bottle of water wetter for diesel engines.

Should it appear as an oily film in my expansion tank?

Is Water Wetter not compatible with Prestone?

Any help is appreciated!!

Prstone green antifreeze? Uh-oh, arteriosclerosis of the tubes here we come!

You should use MB antifreeze, Zerex G05, or Dexcool, in a 50/50 mix with distilled water and NO additives.

I agree with Duke on this, get rid of the green stuff ASAP. I've used water wetter and also noticed the oily residue in the reservoir so I assume it's normal. Either way get rid of the green stuff!
