hello i just got a 1966 mercedes 230 6 cyl and i was wondering how to get this into reverse..i cant get it to go and i know i sound stupid but i need some help i tried to pull the shifter all the way to the steering wheel and up but it keeps going into first gear please help..also i need a new gas tank any suggestions or anyone have one thanks..:confused:
