Question Whose parts to buy?

I just bought a 1988 560SL and want to replace a few electrical and cosmetic parts. How do I decide which company, Performance, Bud's, Adist, etc., or the Mercedes parts department. Where do I find the quality level of aftermarket parts and how will they effect the long term value of my car? I don'twant cheap parts but is it necessary to pay the sometime high OEM costs? Thanks.

Ditto. I've shopped at some of the other sources, even bought a few items. Other sources may be cheaper (not by much), but the overall low prices, service, and order accuracy from Fastlane is worth a lot more than what you get from the other sites. The parts are either OEM or a quality substitue.

As it turns out most of the places mentioned here use the same source Worldpac. All those warehouses are Worldpac warehouses.

Worldpacs "Dial" system can be piggy-backed to existing approved websites. We were approved to add it to our site, but I chickened out at the last minute. I spend lots of time here because I enjoy it. I owe nobody nothin. I imagined selling parts at wholesale prices and then being inundated with technical email from ones who then thought I owed them something.

I'd sell parts every day for less than all them places if I could walk away from the technical costs. Most of them have nothing to loose as they profess no technical prowess anyway.
